Digital Dental Radiographs
Dental radiographs are one of the most important diagnostic tools available to ensure a healthy mouth. They allow the internal anatomy of the teeth, the roots and the bone that surrounds the roots, to be examined. Because veterinary patients will not cooperate when a radiograph or sensor is placed in the mouth, taking dental radiographs requires that the patient is anesthetized or sedated.
Dental X-Rays
We require that all patients receiving a dental cleaning get a full-mouth series of dental x-rays to ensure we are not missing anything under the gum line. Tooth root abscesses, resorptive lesions, and cracked teeth can all be found using dental x-rays that otherwise could have been missed.
